AWTeen's Committees

AWTeen is governed by ten committees, each of which oversees a different aspect of the world's operation. Each of the committees has a leader whose job is to oversee the committee and to make staffing decisions.  Members of committees work toward realizing their particular committee's goals.

The Core consists of the leaders of each of AWTeen's committees.  Each Core member has access to a newsgroup where important issues are discussed.  Proposals that warrant further debate are placed up for a vote, and a simple majority decides whether the proposal is ratified or rejected.  Any Core member can bring up a proposal.

Core and committee members welcome your questions and comments, and most committees are always searching for new members.  If you are interested in helping with a particular function of the world, contact that committee's leader.  If you have an idea for a new committee, send an E-mail to awteen@shoemakervillage.org, and your proposal will be considered and placed up for a vote.

Each committee maintains a website and is expected to maintain this site so that it is as up-to-date as possible.  Please do not E-Mail Gamer or Brant regarding content or errors on these websites; contact the committee leaders instead.  Those looking for information on a particular committee's upcoming projects should visit the sites listed below.  For example, news about future object updates is listed on the Object and Avatar Committee's website.
