The town of Ingonish lies at the eastern entrance to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. A fishing and tourism-centered community of 1250 people, the small village contains restaurants, shopping, and the public-owned Highlands Links golf course, the 38th best course in the world as rated by Golf Digest.
You'll stop in Ignoish for lunch. After lunch, you'll have the opportunity to remain in town or to continue with Steve and Chris to do more hiking.
