On August 17, 2010, while we were at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, Mom expressed lament at being provided plane tickets back home. At the time, she said that she would have preferred to ride with Steve and Chris, and then return home from State College.
Following her suggestion, we scheduled this trip so that she and Dad can ride home with Steve and Chris. However, given that you did not have knowledge of the trip destination prior to departure, we have presented two options for your return journey to Philadelphia. Full details of the two alternative itineraries are provided on the next two pages.
Option 1 - Return with Steve and Chris
In this option, you return with Steve and Chris by land. Since Chris will do all the driving, you'll only have to sit back and relax. Since there will be extra time on the first day of traveling, you will have the opportunity of, at your own expense, visiting attractions in Saint John.
A hotel stay and a casual dinner with Sarah Duncan in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is included in this option. You will be dropped off at a rest stop near Scranton, PA, where you will be driven the remainder of the distance back to your home.

Option 2 - Fly Home
In this option, you will be driven to the Saint John airport, which is directly along the path of Steve's and Chris's return trip. You will board the following flight:
