One of the earliest sections in the Village was the Neighborhood News. The Neighborhood News details happenings in the Shoemaker Village development, from which this magazine was named. The Shoemaker Village development is located just a few miles from central Willow Grove, which is 12 miles directly north of Center City Philadelphia. The Bear Facts consists of events that take place in the local high school (Upper Moreland High School).
